Catholic Young Adults
The formation of Young Adult Groups is strongly encouraged in the Diocese of Corpus Christi. These diverse small groups provide opportunities for sharing and growing in the Catholic faith, as well as for building community with other young adults. To have your small group officially recognized by the Diocese of Corpus Christi and to be promoted on our website, please adhere to the following guidelines and submit the application below:
- Group coordinators must take the Safe Environment Training for the Diocese of Corpus Christi as well as fill out the necessary paperwork for a background check.
- Have at least 3 people to start a young adult group.
- Establish a clear goal or mission that is consistent with the Gospel and is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Share your idea for a young adult group with a parish priest and parish DRE, and provide a letter of recommendation from at least one of them.
- Meet with Adam Koll, Director of Young Adult and Campus Ministry, in order to submit your application and letter of recommendation, and to discuss the details of your young adult group.
- Once your group is approved, please make sure that you follow-up with those expressing interest in your group, keep your portion of the website up-to-date, and stay in regular communication with Adam Koll.
